Overview Different manufacturers have different systems. One reason we can keep our prices so low is that we avoid holding stock. Therefore the likelihood is that your goods will have to be ordered from the manufacturer and shipped to us before we can send them on. Occasionally, in very urgent cases, we can have goods sent direct from the manufacturer to you.
When shipping abroad all goods have to come to us before being sent on by UPS. or Royal Mail
Please note that we and our suppliers operate on a best endeavour basis - but we have not found a shipper that is 100% reliable!

| Royal Mail UK Small items we generally send by Royal Mail First Class Post by Recorded Delivery. However, an item is not even investigated if it is reported missing until 20 Working Days have elapsed.
Urgent and/or valuable small items can be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. In our experience this is an excellent service with high achievement rates.

| UPS Europe Transit Times are estimated in working days from date of despatch from us. Note than it can take 1-3 working days from your order being received to despatch. Some destinations may be subject to an additional days transit depending on destination postcode.

| UPS Worldwide Express This is the most reliable (and expensive) service for destinations that we ship to other than Europe
Transit Times are estimated at 2-5 working days from date of despatch from us. Note than it can take 1-5 days from your order being received to despatch - even if it is an off the shelf item. Where we are making the goods it will obviously be much longer. Some destinations may be subject to an additional days transit depending on destination postcode. |
| Royal Mail International Signed For Royal Mail states "If you use International Signed For with Airmail delivery our target time is within three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world.......We track all International Signed For items until they leave the UK and then the item is handed over to the destination country's postal service as a priority item. However, we can’t track your International Signed For item all the way to delivery in every instance or always be able to provide a confirmation of delivery. "
However, this needs to be taken with a ton of salt - as the times are only target times and an item is not even investigated if it is reported missing until 20 Working Days have elapsed.
In our experience the target times are only met in about 50% of cases and some customers wait 20 days - apparently due to customs at the destination country. Having said that, so far, every item has arrived at the destination within 30 days.
