| Telephone Free from BT Landlines on 0845 871 0845 We have recently introduced an 0845 contact number. This is sometimes called a lo-call number as customers were charged only a local call rate. BT announced in January 2009 that it was scrapping charges to these numbers. So our understanding is that most customers with a BT line will not be charged for calls to us.
According to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/home-phone-calls The vast majority of lines are provided by BT. Even if you pay line rental to TalkTalk, Sky or others, BT provides the hardware behind the scenes. If you are such a customer it seems as though you can simply prefix your call with "1280", to route it via BT.
Therefore if you have a BT line you should be able to call free on 0845 871 0845

| Telephone from Mobile on 0345 871 0345 Ofcom, the telecommunications regulator, introduced 03 numbers so that consumers could have "confidence in the cost of their calls". Customers pay the same amount as a landline call to an 01 or an 02 number. The price is the same as other normal landline calls from mobiles. Accordingly 03 numbers are included in any discount schemes or inclusive call minutes that you may already have with landline or mobile phone operators.
Therefore if you have a package that gives you "Free" landline calls then you should call us on 0345 871 0345 |
